Stormy & Blake

On October 27, I had the pleasure of photographing Stormy and Blake’s stunning fall wedding at Whitetail Lodge in Marysville, PA. They had a vision that was unique and unmistakably “them” — a dark and moody aesthetic that perfectly captured the season and their style. As a photographer who generally leans toward “true” colors and a slightly lighter feel, I was thrilled to embrace the rich, atmospheric tones they were looking for. The results were absolutely captivating!

The vibrant golds and deep reds of the autumn leaves set the perfect stage, complemented by Stormy’s choice of a striking black wedding dress. It’s rare to see a bride take such a bold step, and I loved every minute of it! The black dress added an elegant, edgy touch that contrasted beautifully with the sage green of the bridesmaids’ dresses and the black tuxes worn by the groomsmen. Together, the colors created a palette that felt fresh, timeless, and completely in tune with the autumnal surroundings. I especially loved how the deep red flowers stood out against the black attire, adding just the right amount of drama.

There’s something so moving about the little moments exchanged between a couple as they say their vows — the quiet glances, soft smiles, and subtle touches that remind us of the profound connection they share.

There was an undeniable warmth surrounding Stormy and Blake on their wedding day, a happiness you could feel in the air, even with the fall chill. Their wedding party brought so much energy and fun to the day! From start to finish, they were all about celebrating the happy couple, filling the day with laughter and amazing memories.

Whitetail Lodge’s outdoor dance floor was the perfect space for celebrating under the fall sky. Despite the chilly air, Stormy, Blake, and their guests embraced the season, enjoying the warmth of the nearby fire-pit and dancing late into the night.

Thank you, Stormy and Blake, for allowing me to be part of your special day and trusting me to capture these memories. Working with you both, along with your friends and family, was an unforgettable experience!
